Donate Winter Clothes in Spokane at Lighthouse Physical Therapy

Looking for a meaningful way to give back this winter? Our team at Lighthouse Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine is hosting a winter clothing drive to support those in need right here in Spokane.

From cozy coats to warm socks, your donations will go directly to families in our community through our partnership with Goodwill. All donations can be dropped off at our clinic throughout the month, and every item makes a difference.

Why We’re Hosting a Clothing Drive

Giving back to our community is woven into everything we do. We’re more than just a team of Physical Therapy professionals. We’re parents, neighbors, and active members of the Spokane area who care deeply about the people we serve.

This clothing drive allows us to extend our mission beyond rehab and recovery. It gives us a chance to meet an urgent seasonal need while continuing to support health, wellness, and connection within our community.

What You Can Donate

We’re accepting clean, gently used winter clothing in all sizes. These items will go to families in need through our local Goodwill partner.

Here’s what’s most needed:

  • Winter coats and jackets (all ages)
  • Hats, scarves, and gloves
  • Thermal wear and hoodies
  • Boots and closed-toe shoes
  • Socks (new only, please)
  • Sweaters and sweatshirts

If you’re unsure whether your item is appropriate, think: Would I be comfortable giving this to a friend?

Where and When to Drop Off

You can bring your winter clothing donations directly to our clinic during regular business hours. There is no need to call ahead; simply stop by whenever it’s convenient for you.

We’re located in Spokane. If you have any questions about what to donate or how the process works, give us a call at (509) 928-3443. Our team is happy to help.

How It Connects to What We Do

Physical health and basic needs go hand in hand. Many of the individuals we help in our Physical Therapy sessions are athletes, parents, and community members who understand the importance of showing up for themselves and for others.

We believe wellness isn’t just what happens in a treatment room. It’s about creating an environment where people can thrive. Sometimes, that starts with something as simple as a warm jacket.

Whether you’re visiting us for Sports Medicine, Massage Therapy, or one of our customized athlete packages, we invite you to bring a donation when you stop in. Small acts can create meaningful change.

Why Partnering With Goodwill Matters

We’re proud to team up with Goodwill, a trusted organization with a strong track record of supporting underserved populations across our region. Goodwill helps ensure donations are distributed to families who need them most, which maximizes the impact of every coat, sweater, or pair of boots you give.

Together, we’re working to make this winter a little warmer for our Spokane neighbors.

Get Involved Even if You’re Not a Patient

You don’t have to be an athlete, patient, or client to participate. This is a community-wide effort, and everyone is welcome to contribute.

Bring your friends, get your kids involved, or even set a goal as a family to donate a full bag of winter wear. Giving back is something everyone can be part of, and it often starts with one simple gesture.

Let’s Make a Difference Together

We’re inviting our Spokane, Liberty Lake, and Spokane Valley neighbors to join us in making this drive a success. Your generosity not only supports people in need, it helps strengthen the wellness-focused community we’re building here at Lighthouse.

If you’re already planning a visit for Concussion Rehab, Vestibular Rehabilitation, or Deep Tissue Laser Therapy, feel free to bring your items along.
